I am a developmental psychologist and Lecturer in Developmental Psychology at Liverpool John Moores University. I am also an Honorary Senior Research Fellow in Psychology at the University of Stirling.

My research examines the development of social cognition, with a particular focus on how children evaluate others, learn from social interactions, and revise their beliefs in light of evidence.

Before joining Liverpool John Moores University, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Childhood Learning and Development (ChiLD) Lab at the University of Toronto Mississauga, where I worked on the Developing Intellectual Humility project. Prior to this, I was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Philosophy and Psychology at the University of Stirling, working on the interdisciplinary project Agency, Rationality, and Epistemic Defeat.

I am a co-founder of the Empirical Epistemology Network, alongside Giacomo Melis, Jack Lyons and Peter Graham.
